EVERY INCH A SOLDIER

Every inch a soldier,
Head to toe toil for India's future,
He sacrifices himself for our country,
That the people may live fearlessly.

All the time enemy he faces,
Any where all through his life career,
Never he hesitated to face the danger,
Willingly he slept even in the manger.

He never worries for his family,
Country's security his sole concern,
At the loss of his one limb in the war,
He regrets for not losing himself.

Though his feelings hurt, health lost,
His love for the country not yet lost,
Every drop of his blood chants India...India..
Every heart beat echoes Bharat... Bharat..

Not for any name or fame,
But to keep the nation's flag unfurled ,
His every sight keeps the country pulsating,
Truly he is an every inch selfless soldier.
